This was not a moment of weakness, nor a story rooted in victimhood. It was born from a period of intense personal upheaval—marked by fear, frustration, and a level of emotional, mental, and spiritual strain that cannot be overstated. There was a very real moment where the safety of my loved ones and myself felt uncertain. That kind of experience doesn’t just pass through you—it alters you.

In the aftermath, I found myself silenced. My voice, my emotions, my ability to process what had happened—all of it was suppressed, with no clear outlet for release. The pain and anger had nowhere to go, so they stayed within me, building pressure over time.

But instead of allowing that weight to consume me, I redirected it. I transformed it into something intentional—something that could hold everything I couldn’t say out loud. What came from that was bigger than me. It became a vessel for reclaiming my voice, my autonomy, and my sense of power.

Because for many Black individuals, reclaiming that power is not a one-time act—it’s a lifelong process, regardless of where you come from or where you’re going. This was a turning point. Not defined by what happened, but by what I chose to create from it. With BLKPRNT I am choosing rewrite my code.
